The Thread Group has been an important force in IoT innovation. Their efforts to create standards and a framework for IoT interconnectivity has helped drive development efforts for device companies, consumer goods providers and all sorts of technology enablers.

Arrayent is proud to be a contributing member of the Thread Group. But the greater value for us, and ultimately our customers, is that our close alignment with Thread members who are also Arrayent customers enables us to bring to market actual Thread-enabled solutions. We are working in parallel with these customers and with Thread to ensure that the Thread goals are made into reality. With the commitment of our customer ecosystem and with our comprehensive Arrayent Connect Platform, we are already delivering on that promise.

We’re especially happy to announce that Arrayent has delivered a new Thread-compatible solution. This video demonstrates an IoT use case that utilizes NXP’s reference design and Arrayent’s IoT platform, along with support from Volansys Technologies. Arrayent’s ACA library runs on NXP’s Thread platform, and the ACA library enables the hardware to communicate with Arrayent’s cloud via WiFi Internet connectivity. Using Arrayent’s mobile application, the LED on the board is controlled and switch-trigger notification is received on the mobile application.

If you’re at CES this week, stop by our booth (#71137) to learn more about this, and other, solutions that are powered by Arrayent.
